All eyes will be on Jose Mourinho when he leads his Manchester United team out on to the pitch at Stamford Bridge in a game against Chelsea that could very well determine his fate.
Mourinho is under immense pressure to deliver wins, and anything less that three points at his old work place would again start all the speculation about his future with the Red Devils.
Here are three things to watch out for as the Blues host United in the weekend's first Premier League game.
3. Manchester United Need a Winning Run
Manchester United took some pressure off themselves when they finally got a win during their game against Newcastle United, having conceded two goals in the first half.
The comeback should ideally inspire players coming back from the international break and the squad will want to channel that winning spirit to go on a run of victories, especially considering the next set of games are not the easiest in any way.
2. Chelsea Need the Win to Stay in the Title Hunt
With Manchester City and Liverpool playing relatively easier teams, it is up to Chelsea to get all three points if they want to stay in the title hunt.
They are currently level on points with the other two and any points dropped may see them fall behind in the league standings. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will also be expected to win their respective games, so the pressure is on the Blues to deliver.
1. Mourinho's Fate Hangs in the Balance
There were reports that Jose Mourinho would lose his job during the international break if they had lost to Newcastle United. For now, the Portuguese tactician keeps his job but unless they can turn their fortunes around, he will always be the focus of attention going into every game.
Manchester United play Juventus in the Champions League next and not soon after, they face rivals Manchester City as well. So, the going could get really tough for Mourinho.
He needs to inspire his team to some good results in the next month or so to dispel any doubts about his job.
