Three Things we Learned From Manchester United's 3-2 win Over Newcastle

Manchester United made an incredible comeback after going 2-0 down to Newcastle United in the first 10 minutes, with Alexis Sanchez scoring the last minute winner at Old Trafford. Manager Jose Mourinho would be relieved with the win, as it brings him some respite from all the critics for not winning games.

Here are three things we learned from Manchester United's 3-2 win over Newcastle United.

3. Goals from the rejects

It was the players that Mourinho rejected that did score the goals for him on the night, with Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez all stepping up and helping the team get the win. Mata scored the team's first goal in the 70th minute to start the team's comeback whereas Martial equalised soon after.

It was Sanchez who headed in the winner in the dying moments of the game, completing the comeback thanks to all the players Mourinho apparently had a problem with.

2. Fergie Time

United fans relived the old times at Old Trafford, with the team finding a winner in they dying moments of extra time, or better known as Fergie Time. Sir Alex Ferguson's teams had a propensity to find goals and winners in the very last seconds of the game, even after the allotted injury time was seemingly over but the referee still hadn't blown the whistle. They did the same last night, with Sanchez's header getting them the win.

1. Respite for Mourinho

This win will provide some respite for Mourinho, who has been facing constant criticism for the way the team was playing and the fact that they were not able to get a win. The team had already lost three games in the Premier League and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup, so another defeat would have spelt disaster for the manager.
