Twitter Reacts as Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger Selected as Pundits for Champions League Final

One of the greatest managerial rivalries in the history of the Premier League has to be one shared by Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho.

In 2007 Arsene Wenger referred to Jose Mourinho as "a chequebook manager" - with the Portuguese boss firing back and branding the Frenchman "a specialist in failure" seven years later.

A lot happened between these two timelines and the two best managers in football history will now be seen sharing the screen when they provide punditry on this year's Champions League final in Madrid.

The pair have been regular contributors to beIN SPORTS' Champions League coverage this season but this will be the first occasion when they share a show.

beIN Sports have confirmed the news on their official website as they said, "beIN SPORTS will have Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger as pundits for our Live Arabic studio at the Wanda Metropolitano for the Champions League final between Tottenham and Liverpool in a world first."

"The biggest match in European football deserves the biggest names in the game, and beIN SPORTS has turned to Mourinho and Wenger to cast their critical eye over the all Premier League Champions League final between Spurs & Liverpool. "

Now they will have their say over two teams they know very well in Liverpool and Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Mourinho won the Champions League with Porto in 2004 and with Inter Milan in 2010 but Wenger never managed to win the competition coming closest in 2006 when the Gunners lost to Barcelona in the final.
