Hollywood legend and the original Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger has hailed Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, calling for the striker to be given a new nickname, one which is similar to his most popular movie.
Ronaldo is widely considered as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, if not the greatest as he has won a number of individual and professional honours during his career, including a record five Ballon d'Or awards.
Schwarzenegger believes that Ronaldo too could do with a hollywood inspired moniker, revealing that Terminator would be a perfect nickname for him.
"In the NBA we have a guy that actually is called The Terminator. I don’t think there is any soccer player called The Terminator. So why don’t you start one. Ronaldo? Yeah, but you have to call him that, so then everyone will pick it up and call him The Terminator," he said to BBC as quoted by Dailystar.
The 34-year-old recently reached another landmark in his illustrious career when he became just the sixth player to notch up 700 career goals for club and country, thereby joining an elite list and is sure to break the legendary Pele's record of 767 goals going forward.
Ronaldo who represents Portugal internationally has played for the likes of Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus and is the most popular athlete on social media.
