Liverpool may be deny lifting their first-ever Premier League cup

Liverpool chances of lifting their first-ever Premier League title on Anfield are very slim as some other clubs reportedly wants the remainder of the season played at neutral grounds.

The EPL has been on suspension since mid-March following the outbreak of deadly coronavirus killing thousands around the globe.

But as it stands now, Premier League could return by next month after due consultation.

Before the pandemic, Liverpool is leading the race anonymously to be crown champion of England.

The 'Never Walk Alone' is at the very top and they were leading the 2nd position with 25 points.

The Reds might not have the chance to lift the title at Anfield when they are eventually crowned because Stakeholders are considering to move the remaining games to neutral venues to avoid mass gatherings.

However, with most countries already easing out of total lockdown, talks have also resumed over the return of the English topflight.

one of the major points of discussion, when the stakeholders meet, would be around venues to be used which could lead to teams playing on neutral turf.

Also, the UK's national football policing lead Deputy Chief Constable Mark Roberts told the Press Association that allowing the games to resume at their original venue will pose a big risk to the emergency officers who are already stressed out with COVID-19 problem.

He further stated that playing the match at a neutral ground will discourage mass gatherings of some of the fans. DCC Roberts said: "In the first instance, football has to satisfy the Government that they can hold the matches and that it's safe for everyone to do it in terms of players, officials, coaching staff, broadcasters.

Inconclusion, If eventually the League resumes, Liverpool will be denied the chance to lift the Title in their home Stadium (Anfield) because the remaining fixtures will be played in a neutral ground outside Anfield.

According to VERYCONCERN,What does this mean? Liverpool would be given their long awaiting title at a neutral ground. There would be no group lifting of the trophy before its own fans, no fire works, no champagne and no festival.
