Lagos, Osun Threatens Fresh Lockdown As Cases Hit 23,298
Lagos and Osun state governments have threatened New lockdown amid increase in rate of Corona virus cases in the Lagos, Osun and in Nigeria.

New 684 Corona virus cases were catalogued in 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory on Friday 26th of June 2020 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, yielding the total number of cases to 23,298.

Due to the increasing rate Coronavirus cases everyday, Lagos and Osun state governments have warned, fresh lockdowns if Lagosians fails to comply by government rules, such as social distancing and wearing of face masks or face cover in the public places.
Prof. Abayomi (The Lagos State Commissioner of Health) speaking at media briefing on Friday 26th of June 2020, Prof Abayomi said, “ We believe we are controlling a delicate stability amongst the public wellbeing, crisis and the economic work load of Lagosians. If things are getting worse and no sign of improvement, we will surely fancy another lockdown , ” Prof Abayomi said
