Anambra Politics Thickens as Amobi Declares Interest.
The political atmosphere in Anambra state southeast Nigeria has continue to gain momentum following the inflow of interest by politicians in the state.
Of such interest is the one made by an Awka born successful business man and philanthropist Chief Amobi Nwaokafor on the platform of the all progressive congress.
Meeting with the leadership of the party in the state, Amobi, known for his love and desire for good governance said there is no better time to put the state back on track than now.
According to him, Anambra is yet to harness and enjoy the full potentials it posses as a state and only good leader with the political will, can make such a
reality.
Bearing their minds on the development, party faithfuls and stakeholders in the state, described the move by Amobi as a step in the right direction.
They however pledge their unalloyed support in ensuring that personnel to pilot good governance in the state is installed.
Though there are mix reactions over the performance of the Willie Obiano led APGA administration, residents are hopeful that the 2021 gubernatorial election will usher in a people oriented government.
