BENUE BOAT MISHAP: TWENTY THREE CAPSIZED, TWO RESCUED ALIVE
Twenty three members of ECWA church, Adeke in Makurdi local government area of Benue State have all been reported dead.
The twenty three of them were said to be heading for a conference across River Benue on Sunday afternoon when the boat they had boarded to attend the conference all capsized midway in the river.
As the time of filing this report, no one was said to have survived the boat mishap but that rescue mission was on the way from local fishermen.
When contacted the Benue State Police Image maker DSP Catherine Anene, she said Marine Police search party were deployed to the scene and two persons were rescued alive however said more details will be communicated.
