Portugal and Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is widely considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, with the striker creating and breaking a number of records during his illustrious career.
The 35-year-old was at it again during Juventus' 2-1 win over Lazio in the Serie A on Monday, scoring a brace and setting a number of records in the process. The Portuguese's second-half penalty finish saw him become the first player in history to score 50 or more goals in the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A.
He has 51 league goals since joining Juventus two years ago, along with 84 from his time with Manchester United (2003-09) and 311 from his time with Real Madrid (2009-2018). In addition, the 35-year-old's converted spot-kick means that he has also equalled Giuseppe Signori's 1994-95 record for penalty goals in a season, with 12 successful conversions from inside the area.
If that was not enough, Ronaldo is the fastest to reach 50 goals in the Serie A in a quarter of a century, taking 61 games to get to the mark thereby beating the record set by AC Milan legend, Andriy Shevchenko who took 61 games to get there.
The win on the night puts the Bianconeri in pole position to defend their title as they currently hold a 12-point lead over Inter Milan in the league table.
