Delta SSG Discharged from Isolation Center
The Delta state government has announced that the secretary to the state government Mr. Chiedu Ebie who tested positive for COVID-19 has been discharged after testing negative.
In a statement made available to Galaxy news by the Chief Press secretary to the Governor Olisa Ifeajika said the SSG who has been in isolation for twenty one days, was discharged today Sunday 12th July after testing negative for the virus.
According to him the SSG discharge brought the number of discharged cases to 583, with confirmed cases at 1,359, while 31 deaths have so far been recorded.
He reaffirmed the state government commitment to check the spread of COVID-19, and enjoin Deltans to abide by all protocols in preventing the virus in the twenty five local government areas in the state.
