Rivers Police Recovers Decomposing Body of Kidnap Victim.
Two months after 38-year-old computer engineering graduate Dimbari Ereba was abducted by a gang of notorious kidnappers at Alema forest, in Eleme local government area of Rivers State.
The state police command has recovered the decomposing body of the victim tied to a tree in the forest.
The feat which was achieved after the arrest of one of the suspects Uchendu Osundu who led the Anti-kidnapping team to the forest, also led to the arrest of a second suspect Amos Amebulem where the victims car was recovered.
Rivers police spokesperson Nmamdi Omoni who confirmed the suspects arrest, said the victim was kidnapped on the 5th of May after collecting a ransom of one million Naira, they went ahead to kill the victim.
The Rivers police spokesperson also said that the suspects belong to a five man kidnap gang who have been on the watchlist of the police, and promised to bring other members of the gang to book.
