Woman Ends in Police Net over Child Abuse.
Enugu State Police command has arrested Ifeoma Ezeugwu, age 38 for bettering her 10 years old house help miss Chinonyi Nnadi.
Ifeoma, acting upon the the claim that her house help is possessed has been marinating the young girl for over a period of time now, with the hope the she will change from her stubborn ways.
Unhappy with the persisting beating, concerned neighbors alerted the police who acted. swiftly and safe the girl.
According to the Enugu police public relations officer Daniel Ndukwe the scars on the body of Chinnoye indicates how badly she has been treated.
He said, while the girl is currently undergoing medical care in one of the hospitals in the state the commissioner of police CP Ahmed Abdulraman had ordered serious investigation into the matter and soonest the culprit will be made to face the law accordingly.
