Carlos Tevez Recalls How Cristiano Ronaldo Shocked Him in Manchester United Training

Former Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has revealed the insane work ethic that Cristiano Ronaldo displayed during his time at the Theatre of Dreams. The Portuguese legend formed one of the best attacking trios in the league's history alongside Tevez and Wayne Rooney and the Argentine has now revealed how dedicated the Portuguese was at his work.

Reminiscing their time together, he stated that Ronaldo was always ahead of everyone on the training ground and one day, he decided to beat the former Sporting starlet by going to training at 6.30 am, but even then, the Portuguese was there at the training ground.

Tévez says he could never get to training before Cristiano Ronaldo
Carlos Tevez tried to show up earlier than Cristiano Ronaldo for training at Manchester United but it proved impossible to beat the early bird.

"If we were training at nine in the morning, you would go there at eight and he'd be there," Tevez said, as per AS. He continued, "If you got there are half seven, he was there. I said to myself: 'How do you catch this guy out?' So I got there one day at half six and he was there. He was half asleep but he was there."

His dedication has seemingly paid off as Ronaldo is now a five-time Ballon d’Or winner and even at the age of 34, he is still going strong due to the care he has taken of his body, something which Tevez highlighted as he concluded, "The thing I noticed, and all of the women surely see when they look at him. He is all day in the gym, it's an obsession he has."
