George Floyd death: Police ‘deliberately drive SUV into crowds’ as protests rage across US

A police cruiser has knocked protesters to the ground in New York City as protests over the death of George Floyd continue to rage.

A shocking video posted on Twitter on Saturday night appears to show the NYPD vehicle being deliberately driven into crowds in Brooklyn.

It comes on the fifth day of nationwide demonstrations demanding justice after the 46-year-old black man was pinned to the ground by police officers in Minneapolis.

Protesters in New York can be seen banging on the hood of the vehicles, and a man later jumping onto the car while onlookers scream.
