Chelsea have finally announced Timo Werner as a 'Blue' and his release clause was triggered which was around the £50 million region.
He might prove to very beneficial for them but lot of us don't know about his life on and off the field.

1. Goals
Well, his goal scoring this season has been at an another level and only Robert Lewandowski has scored more. He was recognized as a prolific goal scorer after he moved to Leipzig, scoring 21 goals in his first season with them.
After two average seasons, he began to tear defenses and was absolutely ruthless. At the young age of 24 he already has 107 goals at club level.
2. Appearances
It was not going to be a long time before his talents was recognized and appreciated and VfB Stuttgart gave him the chance to prove himself, when we was just 17.
He had impressed everyone at the youth level, making 30 league appearances in his debut season. Overall he made 103 appearances for Stuttgart. In total the Germany international has 220 Bundesliga appearances.
3. Records
Werner currently hold many records for Stuttgart and in the Bundesliga. He is the youngest player to score a brace in the Bundesliga and youngest to reach 150 and 200 appearances, which is not a surprise because a talent like this doesn't deserve to be a bench warmer.
He is also the youngest player for Stuttgart to score a goal and appear in a competitive fixture. He has made appearances in the DFB-Pokal, Europa League and Bundesliga at the age of 17.
He previously held the record of youngest player to reach 50 and 100 league appearances but it was recently broken by Kai Havertz.
4. Early Life
Timo Werner had shown interest in sports from the beginning and his father spotted his talent and began his development as a professional footballer. His father had a key emphasis on his stamina and strength.Werner was made to climb mountains up and down by his father to improve his endurance and strength.
His mother made sure he completed high school, something which most of the Bundesliga footballers are not able to do. Werner was inspired by Mario Gomez and had poster of him growing-up. He latter on competed with him for a spot in the German national team.
5. International Career
Still, young Timo Werner already has already scored 11 goals in 29 appearances and won the Confederation Cup in 2017 scoring thrice and providing two assists. He won the Golden Boot as well.
He also represented them at youth level and was capped for the Under-15,17,19 and 21 scoring 34 goals in 48 matches. It was no surprise that he had a spot in the German squad which crumbled in 2018 World Cup.
6. Best Season
Well this lad has found some motivation his season as he has already scored 32 goals in 43 appearances. Compared to this season, his past seasons were just average by comparison as he only scored 21 goals across all competitions in the past.
This season he already has three hat-tricks and eight assists in the Bundesliga and his favorite opponents are Mainz. Leipzig have scored 23 goals against Mainz and Timo Werner has contributed 17 of them. He averages a goal every 107 minutes.
7. Personal Life
The German international likes to keep his personal life quite low-profile but has often voiced his opinion on various political issues and uploaded videos during the lock-down due to Covid-19, to entourage and motivate people.
Werner is often seen playing scorer games on PS4. He is often seen hanging out with his Germany teammate Julian Brandt. Apart from football, Werner has attended NBA games and F1 matches.
