Four Killed as Trailer Crushes Micra, Motorcycles in Ibadan

Four people were reportedly killed on Wednesday morning, when an articulated lorry belonging to a popular dairy company lost control and crushed a Micra taxi and three commercial motorcycles in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The incident, which happened at the Aleshinloye roundabout on the ever-busy Dugbe-Aleshinloye road, occurred when the articulated vehicle, apparently due to brake failure, hit the Micra and the motorcycles heading towards Dugbe area of the city.

While three people died inside the Micra, one of the Okada riders also died on the spot.

It was learnt that the remains of the dead people have been moved to the morgue, while men of the Federal Road Safety Corps were on ground to control traffic in the area.
