Acclaimed leader of secessionists group, IPOB Nnamdi Kanu, has been arrested.
Addressing the media at a joint media briefing of the Department of State Services and the Police, Nigeria's Justice Minister and Attorney General, Abubakar Malami, said he was 'intercepted' on Sunday 27 June.
Malami said the arrest was by the effort of intelligence services.
The Justice Minister said Kanu has been returned to Nigeria to face his 11-count charge bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, illegal possession of firearms, among others.
