Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the Leader
of Afenifere has blessed the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives
Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The Afenifere leader
blessed the APC chieftain on Sunday at his (Pa Fasoranti’s) country home.
This came weeks after the
acting leader of the group, Ayo Adebanjo, had declared open support for the
presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
The APC presidential
candidate had reached the state to make a presentation of his Action Plan on
how to rebuild Nigeria to the Yoruba political and cultural organisation.
The document (80-page
Action Plan) which was christened Renewed Hope, was earlier launched in Abuja,
the nation’s capital on 21 October by President Muhammadu Buhari.
